A song which reminds you of your childhood
Ollie: Never Let Her Slip Away - Andrew Gold. My dad used to sing the entire song to me and my sister when he put us to bed when we were little. While I drank straight Ribena.

Your go-to karaoke song
Jamie: Papa Was A Rolling Stone - The Temptations. I think Dennis Edwards might be my favourite singer, so I can shout and scream and pretend to be him, then get Nicky to do all the other voices.
A song which could change the world if everyone heard it
Jamie: Children of the world - D Train. That breakdown. So powerful.
A song you’d rather never hear again
Nicky: Children of the world - D Train.
A song which reminds you of someone you don’t see anymore
Nicky: A Man and a Woman - James Last. Me and my friend Eddy used to have a pretty intense breakfast routine where we would listen to bossa nova, drink coffee and stare out the window. This song started the whole thing and will forever be in my heart.
A song which gets you in the mood (for dancing)
Jamie and Nicky: YEBISU - Yung Bae, Macross 82-99. We played this in our first ever DJ set at about 7am.

The soundtrack to your last holiday
Ollie: August 10 - Khruangbin. I was in Spain with my girlfriend and her family and we listened to it outside while hanging around the house.

A song which has changed your mind
Nicky: No Luck - Bad Sounds. Was listening to this loads when I decided to quit my 9-5 for music. Something about it makes everything feel alright. Thanks to Bad Sounds I now have no money.

Nicky: Everything Stays - Marceline the Vampire Queen :’)

A song which makes you laugh
Rick: El Chepe - Vulfpeck. The locomotive sound takes me back to my model railway days. More of a gentle chuckle reminiscing over good times.
A song which tells a story
Rick: Nuits Sonores - Floating Points. It’s a long old musical adventure for your ears to undergo. It was also written on a plane. I love planes.

A song which gives you goosebumps
Rick: Home by Now - Bombay Bicycle Club. I can’t tell if it makes me happy or sad, but definitely some kind of emotion that brings out those puckered little bobbles.
A song which makes you feel empowered
Jamie: Around the World / Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger - Daft Punk (from Alive 2007). Whatever you’re doing it sounds like there’s a huge crowd of people cheering you on.
An artist you regret never having seen live
Jamie: Prince. But mainly because I heard he was actually quite funny live, which you wouldn’t expect from such a mystical icon guy.

Ollie: Little Simz

A gig you’ll never forget
Ollie: Kamasi Washington at Love Supreme. He played 45 minutes and it was such an intense atmosphere that none of us could speak afterwards.

An album you know by heart
Jamie: Rubber Soul - The Beatles. I got it at an age where the main skill in singing was learning all the words. I learned all the words. As a result there’s video of me reciting basically the whole album aged maybe 7 or 8.

Ollie: We Can Work It Out - Stevie Wonder

A song you first heard on a film soundtrack
Jamie: Golden Years - David Bowie in ‘A Knight’s Tale’. The way they work it into the score with trumpets and lutes and stuff is also really dumb and great.

Rick: Mopedbart - HUBBABUBBAKLUBB. Struggle to follow the narrative but it’s real groovy

Jamie: Too many cooks.

Nicky: Sports - they came up in the Tungz ‘Fans Also Like’ on Spotify. Will now be taking band recommendations from our fans in a suggestion box at every gig.
